The Gigabyte X670E AORUS Master features a 16+2+2 phase VRM configuration. These are setup in as "teamed" power stages, resulting in every two receiving the same PWM signal.

High-resolution version of the VRM is also available (FRONT).


Gigabyte is using a Renesas RAA229620 PWM controller to drive the X670E AORUS Master power stages.


The Gigabyte X670E AORUS Master uses Renesas RAA22010540 power stages for the 16 Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 105 A of continuous current. For the SoC phase, Gigabyte is using a two Renesas ISL99390 90 A power stages as well for the SoC power management.


On one end of the VRM setup is the VDD_MISC power. This is using a Renesas RAA 229621 for the controller and two ILS99390 90 A power stages.

The Gigabyte X670E AORUS Master has a maximum output of 1,680 dedicated to Vcore.
