Board Software

Gigabyte's new APP Center software is one of many new software interfaces offered with Intel's Z87. Gigabyte has rolled all of the software they offered into one easy-to-use interface. Updating both the BIOS and the board's software can now be done by simply clicking a button.


The APP Center Interface now allows you to launch tools to control USB-charging capabilities or lock USB ports, or the system itself.


Changing drive-controller modes can now be done with just a click, and even EasyTune has received an update, featuring a far more modern and functional design. Gigabyte was not the first to offer such software design with their motherboards, and it took them quite some time before they did, but the wait was worth it to me.
