Packaging and Accessories

The retail packaging for the HarmonicDyne Athena includes a thin cardboard enclosure around the actual product box. This bare cover has the HarmonicDyne logo on it and opens from the top to reveal the blue-colored box which is on the simpler side compared to products from the brand I've seen before. The front has the company logo only as a silver-colored glossy applique. On the back is more of the same silver lettering confirming the product name, relevant product specifications, as well as a list of contents inside. A seal on the side keeps the box closed and it opens up centrally on both the left and right sides to where we can see there are many layers involved for branding and protection alike.

There is a foam lining on top of the contents which themselves come placed inside a thick foam compartment with machined cutouts. The headphones are placed snugly and between the ear cups comes a branded metal coin as a souvenir more than anything else. The actual accessories come in a cardboard box marked accordingly and include a multi-language user manual going through the setup, use, and maintenance of these headphones if you were not familiar with how to use them. We also get a soft drawstring pouch with a stitched fabric lining that has the HarmonicDyne logo on the outside. There's no hard case this time as with the other HarmonicDyne headphones sadly, so the bag here is more for storage rather than protective transportation.
