HAVN HS 420 VGPU Review

Packaging

The HAVN HS 420 VGPU ships in a brown box with orange and black writing. It is also sealed with branded orange tape. A sticker on the side lets you know which version you have within the box.

HAVN is going the extra mile to give you a very nice unboxing experience, which one could argue is pretty important when first establishing a new brand. The interior of the box has branding on it and the accessories box alongside a thank-you card can be found right on top as you open it up. The case itself is held in place by foam spacers, with a plastic bag to further protect it and keep away fingerprints and scratches.

Alongside the case, you receive an assortment of screws and zip ties and a VESA 75/100 mounting plate so that you can install an internal screen, but I can also see people using it to mount a pump or reservoir. On top of that you will find some additional cable management parts. HAVN also includes some gloves with their own branding, which is fun to see, but these won't fit everyone and there is really no need for them. As you can see, even though we have the white chassis, all these components are black as the case is going for that dual-tone look overall.

A unique element to the HAVN HS 420 VGPU is a clear glass panel, which is gently bent to reflect the air stream of any floor mounted cooling to pass in front of the vertically mounted GPU instead of simply underneath of it. This panel comes with its own set of mounting hardware.
