Packaging

The packaging ID-Cooling uses for the Auraflow X 240 measures in at 40.6 cm long, 21.5 cm wide, and 13.9 cm tall. On the front, you will find the liquid cooler in all its full-color glory along with a few of its listed features, including RGB sync, premium sleeved tubing, and advanced pump design. Taking a look at the left side, it just has the product name and company logo with nothing else of note other than the bright orange background. Turning it around once more, we find the specifications on the back, along with a mention of supported CPU sockets, fan speeds, and tubing length, which happens to be 40 cm.

The other three sides are just the product name and logo on orange backgrounds with nothing else to really make note of other than the fact that it's eye-watering bright.

Contents

The Auraflow X 240 comes in a typical cardboard shell with a piece of foam on top. I much preferred the all foam packaging they used on the Dashflow coolers, but know from having reviewed so many all-in-one liquid coolers that the packaging is more than adequate.

The Auraflow X 240 offers support for the majority of Intel and AMD sockets, including AMD's TR4. In regards to the RGB LEDs, ID-Cooling provides a small Molex-powered controller for those who do not have the option of using software control via their motherboard.
