A Closer Look

The radiator is a boxy design with indents along the side with ID-Cooling prominently displayed in light gray. Meanwhile, the end tanks feature indents on both sides as well, with the end tank with the tubing being slightly larger. Taking a closer look, I found no bent fins or other serious problems. The included radiator has an FPI (fins-per-inch) count of 18, which is slightly less than the more typical 20–21 seen on other all-in-one liquid coolers. When it comes to tubing, ID-Cooling markets it as being premium, but it is the same sleeved tubing as on many other units. That said, it is much more attractive than plain old rubber or corrugated tubing. In terms of length, it measures in at 40 cm, which is 15.75".

Taking a closer look at pump, it features an illuminated RGB LED ring that adds a bit of life and color to the design if you make use of it. Meanwhile, the fittings are your typical swivel design and function as they should with a good degree of motion. Power delivery to the pump is handled by a 3-pin connector attached to a SATA adapter; as such, the pump will run at 100% at all times. In regards to the copper base, it is relatively smooth with only a few visible machining marks that are not noticeable by touch.

ID-Cooling provides two 120 mm RGB fans with the Auraflow X 240. The model number is ID12025M12S, and they feature a PWM range of 700–1800 RPM and a listed maximum airflow of 74.5 CFM.
