A Closer Look

The radiator features a slightly different exterior with its indented sides and ID-Cooling logo, but beyond that, it is essentially the same as most all-in-one liquid coolers in that it sticks with a tried and true aluminium core with a fins-per-inch (FPI) count of 20. The tubing has black braided nylon sleeving and measures 400 mm in length. Overall it looks nice, without any standout features of its own, but that is to be expected considering the Dashflow 240 Black Basic's intended price target.

The pump block is blocky in its design, with raised areas adding depth and visual interest, improved further by its subtle white LED lighting. In addition, its design features widely spaced swivel fittings that offer a larger degree of movement to help with placement. Meanwhile, the wiring, while placed in the middle, doesn't cause any problems due to the extra space. As for the copper base, it is very slightly convex, and while it did have some scratches, I could not feel them during a closer inspection.

Regarding the fans, ID-Cooling opted to use their TF-12025-PRO Fans with the model number: ID12025M12S. These fans have a hydraulic bearing with a PWM RPM range of 700 to 1800. Rubber vibration dampeners are attached on all corners with fans featuring a hybrid airflow / static pressure design that uses nine fan blades.
