ID-Cooling FI-REEX Deluxe Review

Packaging and Contents

The box the FI-REEX Deluxe comes in measures roughly 26.6 cm in length, 19.6 cm in width, and 15.8 cm in height. As you can see, ID-Cooling uses a very plain box for their product. The top features a quick tag line along with the company name and logo. On the left side are the model number and ID-Cooling website. The right side again has the company logo and name and not much else. If you were expecting a colorful, exciting box, you will be disappointed.

The box open, I am greeted by a well-packaged cooler with foam on all sides for some exceptional protection to the cooler and its accessories. So what the box lacks in appeal, it makes up for in protection, which is the way it should be, netting ID-Cooling's packaging my thumbs up.

Everything you need to mount the FI-REEX Deluxe on pretty much any socket available is provided. A PWM Y-cable for the fans on motherboards that do not have two CPU fan headers is also included, but other than it, there are no extras to speak of. Like with the box's exterior, the accessories and extras are kept to the bare minimum.

Common parts supplied for mounting include:
  • 4x LGA2011 screw pillars
  • 4x Backplate screws
  • 4x Red washers
  • 4x Mounting arm nuts
  • 4x Metal spacers
  • 4x Fan clips
  • 2x Crossbar nuts
  • 2x AMD mounting arms
  • 2x Intel mounting arms
  • 1x Heatsink
  • 1x Backplate
  • 1x Tube of thermal paste
  • 1x PWM Y-cable
