Finished Looks

With the LEDs off, the ID-Cooling SE 234 ARGB cooler easily blends in with the rest of the system because of its black top plate and coating, with only the white LED diffusers and fan blades adding some much-needed contrast. That said, overall, it's a sharp-looking cooler, and once you enable the ARGB lighting on the fan, it goes from hidden to fabulous in an instant, depending on whether you like illuminated components or not.

Graphics card and memory clearance are perfect with no issues to report, which is always nice to see. Since the cooler doesn't conflict with the first expansion slot, it should be just fine on Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX motherboards as well.

While ARGB lighting may be a love-it or hate-it feature, I can say it's just right in regards to the ID-Coolings SE 234 ARGB,. The top plate takes things a bit further and ties into the fan quite well without being so over the top that it is gaudy. In general, the lighting is well balanced, and while not entirely uniform, still looks fairly good because of the diffuser around the top.
