iFi Audio Logo

iFi Audio is a company with a broad selection of DAC/amps for all your headphone listening needs. They got known for their larger desktop amplifiers due to their focus on high sampling rates. Besides embracing high sample rate decoding, iFi has also hopped on the direct drive wagon with their amplifier designs. Today, we will be taking a good hard look at their entry level DAC/amp dubbed the nano iDSD LE. The nano iDSD LE is geared towards headphone enthusiasts who are looking for a relatively affordable and portable DAC/amp.

iFi Audio managed to cram a lot of stuff into a relatively small box. Although not as small as the C5D, the feature set is a lot bigger as well.

The Package

iFi Audio ships the nano iDSD LE in a neat, tightly packed little box.

The bundle for the nano is quite impressive considering its price ($129). You get everything you need to take full advantage of all its functions. The cables are of a really good quality, and you get a set of rubber feet and protection pads should you want to use it on the go with a phone.
