Introduction
Maximo is the name of a fairly new in-ear manufacturer based in the US. All their earphones rely on dynamic drivers and are some of the better looking midrange in-ears out there. With their metal looks and woven cable jacket these earphones sure got charms, but do they have the muscle to back it up. The iM-590s use a 9 mm diameter dynamic driver which is quite common among the midrange in-ears on the market today. The use of a conventional driver means that the earphones are a bit bigger than its balanced armature based competitors, however, Maximo has done a decent job with the housing so I do not think the size will pose an issue for the majority of potential users.
