Jackery Explorer 2000 Pro
As Jackery has sent us both their panels and the portable power generator, we received them in two brown, company branded protective packages.
Within this box, you will find the bright orange retail package of the Jackery Solar Generator with two carrying handles. The front of the box hold a full color image of the unit, while the rear goes into details on what it is capable of. Interestingly enough the US plug shown is that of a 20 amp circuit, as it has that extra horizontal cutout. However, it will charge just fine on a 15 amp capable plug. On one side, there is just a warning typical of any larger battery product whereas the other just has an image of the unit in action.
The Solar Generator 2000 Pro is held in place by thick, black foam spacers with the accessory pack in the center. As such, you should get your hefty, heavy unit in pristine shape.
Within that pouch you will find the massive charging cable, plugs to allow for solar panels to be connected and a manual to get you started. The thick, bright orange power cable is not just important in terms of quality, but due to the fact that the unit will draw 1500 watts when charging, as such you should never use a different one with the unit, to avoid damage or worse.
Jackery SolarSaga 100 watt
We also received the SolarSaga 100 panels, which we had previously already reviewed, and their packaging has remained the same. If you buy two of these in a bundle, you will find each in its own cardboard box within the bigger one, with the panel protected by bubble wrap. The panels also ship with a manual to show you how to utilize them.
