The price is really high for a 550W unit but on the other hand, the technology incorporated to reach Platinum efficiency and almost fanless operation does not come cheap. Warranty is pretty long at five years.

Combined power at 5V & 3.3V is among the lowest we have ever seen, with only 100W max. However today's systems do not draw much power from these minor rails so you won't have any problems, considering also that the unit's max capacity is only 550W.

The 20+4 ATX connector, along with the PCIe and EPS ones, uses 16 AWG wires while the rest use 18 AWG. The available connectors are sufficient for the capacity of the PSU and cable length is satisfactory. Our only objection is the distance between the SATA/Peripheral connectors which is quite small at 110 mm. ATX spec recommends at least 150 mm.
Since this PSU features a single +12V rail we do not have anything to comment about its power distribution.
