Kingwin LZP-550 Lazer Platinum 550 W Review

A Look Inside »

Packaging

The unit cames in a rather large packaging. On the front there is a photo of the PSU with the platinum badge right next to it. As usual on the rear we find a reference to the features of the PSU.

Contents

The contents of the box are thoroughly arranged and the unit itself is protected by bubble wrap. Along with the unit you will get a nylon pouch that stores all modular cables, an AC power cord, four thumbscrews and a user's manual. Unfortunately there are no cable/Velcro ties included.

Exterior

The LZP-550 features a black coating finish and a white light grey fan. Overall the external quality is quite good and the unit is a little long for its only 550 W capacity (650 overclocked). On the modular connectors you can connect every modular cable regardless of the type of connector it carries (PCIe, SATA, Molex). Finally some silicone caps cover the modular panel's connectors to protect against dust buildup.
