Packaging
The LEPA NEOllusion is in a box that measures in at roughly 22.4 cm long, 17.8 cm wide, and 13 cm high. On top, we are greeted with a color image of the NEOllusion in all its stunning RGB glory. Supported CPU sockets are also listed on top. Moving to the left side, we find the product name and corporate logo, but not much else. The back is similar to the top in that it has a full color image of the NEOllusion with its LEDs set to blue.
On the back is where the juicy bits of information regarding its features and specifications are to be found. Meanwhile, the right side is again just the company logo and product name.
Contents
The NEOllusion comes packaged in a thin layer of cardboard and foam. Honestly, while the materials are a bit thin, they do offer above average protection for the product when compared to packaging I have seen in the past. It would have been nice to see a bit more foam, but overall, the packaging is still better than average, which means consumers can expect the NEOllusion CPU cooler to arrive in one piece and without any bent fins.
The NEOllusion has all the hardware needed for modern sockets. Even AM4 is supported. While older stock does lack the AM4 mounting hardware, users can contact LEPA to arrange for a free AM4 bracket. They also made sure to include a second fan mount for dual-fan configurations.
