Packaging

The box is your prototypical packaging. Lian Li used a black and blue design with some interesting visual elements to draw your attention, along a render of the Galahad 240 front and center. Also on the front is a badge showing users the 5-year warranty, which is nice to see. Many companies tend to hide or limit visibility on their warranty length, but since Lian Li decided to go big here, it makes sense to draw attention to it. A quick turn to the left side details the 400 mm long tubing and little else, but flip around to the back for the feature list; be it the machined aluminium housing, ARGB lighting, or high static pressure fans, all of it is detailed there.


The right side has the mechanical drawings of the radiator along with its dimensions. The top and bottom detail the various features and specifications. This includes the supported CPU sockets.

The Lian Li Galahad 240 comes in the same standard cardboard tray as most AIO liquid coolers. While that is by no means a problem, Lian Li's motto of "feel the difference" means I would have liked some foam packaging here, even just for the sake of appearances.


The cooler supports the sockets you would expect, including Intel's mainstream and HEDT systems and AMD's AM4 platform. Everything you need is included, and looking at the mounting hardware, it's all pretty standard and straightforward stuff; even friction-fit spacers are included, which is awesome, but more on that later.
