Lian-Li PC-V1010 Aluminum ATX Case Review

Value & Conclusion »

Finished Looks

Once everything has been installed, the case still looks quite open. You should be able to create some really nice cable routing with the seperate compartments. This should result in a fairly empty mainboard area, giving you the space to work with - even when you have a lot of parts installed.

The covers of the case were placed back on the chassis and the unit was turned on. The rear looks just like you would expect. There are no fancy LED fans or any other lighting accents in this area.

The black optical drive looks great in the silver V1010. You could also use a silver drive, but - in my humble opinion - the contrast between silver and black looks much better. The one downside is the light of the LEDs eminating from the free space between the drive and the chassis itself. It would have been good if Lian-Li could have shielded the LEDs, especially as the light will also shine through the perforated front drive bay covers.
