The PC-V600F features the same looks and excellent build quality as the the V1020 chassis. The reason we are comparing the mATX chassis to the full tower is simple: both carry the same price tag and are part of the same family of cases, thus we wanted to know why someone would go for a smaller and naturally more restrictive chassis at the same price point instead of the bigger enclosure. There are two advantages of the PC-V600F: the hot-swap PCB are a great addition and the fact that you can install 2.5 inch drives without using the 3.5" slots. Sadly, the advantages end here. Lian Li has removed one fan from the mix, including the ability to add one yourself, the front 3.5 inch bracket is gone, water cooling fans will find it lacking openings for tubing and the already limited cable management options have been reduced further. While the side panels are pretty cool with their pins and thus completely screwless system, the limited space between the mainboard tray and panel may be such a big issue, that you will end up routing all the cables through the case interior, considerably adding to the cable clutter.

If you love the looks of this series and size or the red color options are your primary concerns then the PC-V600F is your case. If size is the only important factor, then go for the PC-A04 which does lack the hot-swap PCB and additional 2.5 inch bays, but offers the same general feature set at less than half the price. If you do not care for the compact dimensions, then the PC-V1020 simply offers more of the really important aspects and flexibility for the same money as the PC-V600F.
