The Package

The LiveWires ship in a hard reusable plastic box. The box itself is made from thick heavy duty plastic and will withstand a considerable amount of abuse. This is nice because you get a hard carrying case instead of just a flimsy plastic package.

The bundle that comes with the LiveWires is pretty normal. Besides the case for the earphones you get a cleaning tool and a little manual. The cable and the custom in-ears were all placed in small bubble plastic bags inside the hard plastic case. Everything arrived here in Denmark without a scratch. My color selection for the LiveWires was black faceplate with clear body, I am too much of a nerd to pass on the ability to clearly see what is inside these custom earphones.
More stylish choice are available and you can even get them to do one red bodied and one blue bodied like the ones you see on their webpage. The cable is the standard option. You can also order some that are longer and with a couple of resistors in if you have a particularly noisy source, however, if you go for the cables with the resistors, the sound quality will be compromised.

The cleaning tool supplied with the LiveWires is a good thing to have. It definitely makes the cleaning of the earphones a lot easier.

The LiveWires look pretty big when they are not in your ears. This is because much of earphone's body will be covered by your ear. Once full inserted the body of the in-ears will sit flush in the concha which is large hollow part of the outer ear.
