Introduction
Logitech is a Swiss-based computer peripherals and software company founded in 1981. The G604 is the successor of the older G602. Unlike the latter, the G604 not only comes with Logitech's latest sensor, the HERO 16K, but also only needs one instead of two AA-batteries (or AAA with an adapter) for up to 240 hours of battery life. The right-handed ergonomic shape, top-tier sensor, and number of programmable buttons (15 in total) make the G604 suitable for FPS, RTS, and MMO/MOBA games. Additionally, the metal scroll wheel is capable of horizontal scrolling as well as an optional free-spin operation, which makes the G604 suitable for office work, too. In order to prolong battery life even further outside of gaming, Bluetooth mode can be used instead of the regular 2.4 GHz "LIGHTSPEED" wireless mode. Lastly, the G604 is fully customizable within the G-Hub software.
The Logitech G604 lacks any sort of lighting, which is why I'll be skipping that section of the review entirely.
