UE's BOOM is a great piece of kit! It is, despite its high price, totally worth it if you want a boombox that is portable and suitable for at-home use. Its design is durable and well laid-out, and its feature set is simply staggering. The only slight nuisance when it comes to the user interface of the app is its lack of a button to set two BOOMS up like the last time you used them. The sound quality is really good for its size, and while it is not quite on par with the more expensive Boombox, it is no slouch either, and the fact that it is smaller and plays for 15 hours on end is simply amazing.

The design is great. Everyone I have come across immediately liked them and that says a lot. The material and finish is incredible for a $200 product; it both looks and functions like you want it to, which is a lot to ask of a small, portable speaker. The fact that they look great is quite important since they do take up some room, and you really can get them in a lot of different color schemes.

This speaker is for those who want an extremely easy way to get wireless sound on the go or around their home. Technically, the sound quality cannot match that of a fully wired up system, but it is good enough for MP3s and non-critical listening.
