Unlike most Mad Catz mice, the M.O.J.O. lacks any sort of shape-adjustment options. That's not necessarily a bad thing if the shape is good to begin with. The M.O.J.O. M1 has a fairly unique shape, and it took me a while to think of what it reminded me of—namely, the older EVGA Torq (X3, X5) series. Much like the latter, the M.O.J.O. M1 has elongated main buttons, a moderately pronounced hump slightly towards the back, and a rounded off back that doesn't extend fully towards the bottom, but rather lifts off it. Furthermore, the back flares outwards quite a bit, creating a fairly wide butt, which, coupled with the thumb rest on the left side, limits the space for one's thumb. As a result, the mouse needs to be gripped more towards the front, which is also underlined by the side buttons having been put there but introduces another problem: The sensor is already positioned a bit more towards the back, which is amplified if forward-gripping the M.O.J.O. M1. Another thing to note is the holes being rather large and triangular, which makes them far more irritating than on most other hole designs. Overall, while I got used to this shape over time, my hand did ache a bit after extended sessions.
As for grip styles, I'd say the M.O.J.O. M1 generally suits palm and claw grip, with fingertip grip being an option at least. It's medium-sized with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit most hand sizes, although larger hands may struggle with the need to grip the mouse more towards the front. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the M.O.J.O. M1 mostly comfortable in claw grip.
Dimensions
This table includes the dimensions of the Mad Catz M.O.J.O. M1 and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
