  • Can handle resolutions up to 1920x1200 on each display
  • Small LED on device for display status
  • USB powered

  • Does not heat up
  • No Macrovision
  • Well packaged
  • Not very cheap
  • OS X documentation not very good
Matrox has been in the Graphic card business quite some time and they were always known for producing superior image quality for everyday applications instead of best performance in 3D games. Their DualHead2Go series is another great example of something really useful and unique. Instead of trying to release faster and bigger graphic cards, Matrox is still focusing to expand and improve usability. There is really nothing to say against the DualHead2Go Digital. It performs great, works perfectly, does not heat up and comes in 2x DVI, 2x Analog or 3x flavors as well. If I had to mention one negative thing, it would be the limited Mac OS X documentation. If you need all the desktop space you can get in your environment, the Matrox DualHead2Go is a great choice. Especially if you can not install additional video cards in your system.
