Shape

Though not a terribly accurate description, the shape of the Avior Pro could be likened to a Castor made ambidextrous. Much like the Castor, the Avior widens towards the top at the front, yet widens towards the bottom at the back. As a result, the sides are curved in an unusual way. Not only are they curved inwards, but the slant also changes direction between the front and back. While this isn't unique to the Avior, the degree to which it happens is. Furthermore, this has the side buttons stick out more than on other designs, which is why the side buttons on the opposite sides may get in the way sometimes depending on one's grip. In terms of profile, the Avior sits very low, with the hump being barely pronounced across either axis. The main buttons feature minor comfort grooves. Overall, an unusual design, but quite comfortable after some getting used to.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Avior Pro is mostly suited for claw grip. It is a medium-sized yet somewhat wide mouse with a mildly pronounced hump, which should make it suit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Avior Pro quite comfortable in claw grip.
