The front of the Y601B is made of a high gloss plastic. Both the right and left sides of the case have adequate ventilation to keep components from overheating.

The top of the case has rounded edges which make the case look sleek. The bottom of the case has more ventilation holes which allows for cool air to be picked up from the lowest point, remember, heat rises. The rear panel of the case also has the same ventilation holes that the bottom has. Even the PCI fill panels have ventilation holes. Moneual has ventilation covered pretty well with this case design.

The front of the case has three doors which utilize a push/latch system to hide the 3.5 inch external bay which can be used for a floppy drive or card reader. The optical drive bay has a "stealth" button near the top of the case. When depressed the door opens as the drive's tray slides out. Near the bottom of the case there is front panel headphone and microphone 1/8" jacks as well as two USB 2.0 ports. Also located near the bottom is the power switch, power and hard drive activity LEDs.

The right side panel is held in place with two thumbscrews typical to most cases these days. The Y601B comes with a 350W TFX form factor power supply which can be switched to run between 110 Volts AC to 240 Volts AC. Since this is a Micro ATX form factor case, there are four PCI slots available for add-on cards of your choice. The case is a low profile design so it can only make use of low profile add-in cards. The rear feet are thick pliable rubber which make for great vibration dampeners to eliminate any noise from fan or hard disk vibration. There is also a location for a 40 mm case fan to aid in cooling if you choose.
