A big thank you to Montech for supplying the review sample.
Montech, a newcomer in the DIY PC space, has continuously expanded and grown its presence since its inception in 2016. In 2019 they entered the US market, and have been expanding into more and more regions ever since. As a new brand, their desire "to create a new brand of their own focused on engineering, design, quality, and reasonable pricing to better serve their consumers" has served them well, and it has allowed them to think outside the box to a certain extent. Furthermore, being new gives Montech the ability to try new things, which should result in unique products.
In this review, I look at the second Montech CPU cooler to come across my desk. Compared to the more reserved cooler I tested first, the Metal DT24 Premium is a behemoth cooler that looks at home competing with other top-tier air coolers. Its dual tower and dual fan design are tried and true, while the clean ARGB illuminated top gives it a nice visual aesthetic without going overboard. It will be interesting to see how the Metal DT24 Premium stacks up compared to long-time favorites like the NH-D15 and DeepCool Gamer Storm Assassin III, alongside more price-appropriate competition such as the DeepCool AK620. So without further delay, it's time to take a closer look at what Montech has to offer.
