Introduction
Montech is the house brand of Telon Co., Ltd., a Taiwanese company that has been around for over 30 years. Montech started out in the domestic market before slowly expanding overseas and this happened simultaneously with an aggressive marketing campaign that has resulted in
several product reviews here on TechPowerUp already. These include cases, CPU coolers, fans, and today we are greeted by Montech's entry into the keyboard space with the aptly named MKey series.
Launched in May in time for Computex, the Montech MKey keyboard line has full-size and TKL (tenkeyless) form factors covered to please those who do not want a smaller form factor keyboard as has been the norm with so many keyboard releases lately. There are two color schemes for either size too, and Montech was kind enough to provide one of each color of the MKey TKL to TechPowerUp. The feature set seems solid with the use of a gasket mount design, south-facing LEDs, and the wheel at the top right corner that is more than just a volume wheel. Montech is even promising software support on top of extensive onboard controls, so let's take a closer look at the keyboard in this review which begins with a look at the product specifications in the table below.
