Putting the System To Use
Like all products I review, I put the MSI Aegis Ti to immediate use before doing a teardown. Although there is lots of LED lighting here in front, the LEDs are not obtrusive when you have the case on your desk, next to your monitor, as I did in the picture above.
The power button is actually at the top, and it is nicely lit, while the front I/O only consists of the HDD activity LED. The MSI GAMING logo on front and the LED slashes there light up nicely, but are not too bright.
The way the LEDs are placed certainly helps with the front of the case resembling a face, with the "chin" lit up from the inside rather than having its own LED strip.
The back of the case glows from top to bottom, and if you peer inside the grill at the back, you'll see that even the cooler has a lit-up logo, MSI's bespoke dragon shining proudly.
Light seeps out the top too, and removing the louvers reveals why since the fan up top has red LEDs.
Of course, you could replace that fan if you find the LEDs to be a bit too much. It is worth noting that two fans could be placed there, but my case only came with one since the HB SLI bridge might have interfered with a fan in the rear.
