Internal Drive Performance

For the internal drive included with the laptop, we have a 512 GB Kingston device on the Pulse GL66. Its performance is good. While small, 512 GB is good to start off, and there is a second M.2 slot should you want to add another drive, which for me would be a must. 1900 MB a second for 512 GB is good, but it's definitely not the fastest out there.

External USB Performance and Options

USB 3.0 transfers are tested using an ORICO 6518 Series USB 3.0 docking station paired with a Crucial MX200 500 GB. For these tests, Crystal Disk Mark and HD Tune Pro are utilized to test and verify performance.


USB 3.0 performance meets expectations.
