The cooling provided on the MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON is hugely overdone, but does not appear overbearing. The "carbon fiber" appearance really helps set the tone of the board, and the large blocky angular coolers do a great job of keeping the system cool in even my open-bench test system that barely has any airflow at all. That cooling design helped the MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON keep power consumption in check, giving us great numbers all around.
