The Deep Silence 1 Rev. B has not changed much visually. A plastic cover sporting an aluminum look on front, Nanoxia's clean, understated design remains, coupled with some potent functionality for this series of cases.

The two covers in front swing open to the right and are lined with sound-dampening materials. The top hides the drive bays while the bottom covers the fans. Turning the chassis around, the rear should make just how massive the Deep Silence 1 Rev. B is apparent, its layout pretty traditional.

The main side panel comes with an opening for a 120 mm or 140 mm fan, which is covered to ensure proper sound dampening. The side opposite to it is completely solid. Nanoxia placed some air vents on the front panel's sides to allow for fresh air to the fans there, however.

Taking a closer look at the front, there are two 120 mm fans at the bottom, behind the dust filters that also act as a frame onto which the cooling units are mounted. You may swing these open for easy cleaning or readily available access to any radiator there. The three drive-bay covers in the top are easily removable, and you will find the reset button and two separate fan controllers in the form of sliders here—these can power up to three fans each for a very respectable six fans in total.

The PSU bay in the bottom of the back comes with two sets of screw holes, which allows for the PSU to be installed with its fan facing up or down. The bay is also lined with a thin layer of foam as an anti-vibration measure. Above it are the eight motherboard-expansion slots. Each of these is protected by its own cover. In the very top are a single 140 mm exhaust fan and four grommet-equipped water-cooling holes.

A dust filter covers the PSU's intake area. You may pull it out through the rear without having to tip the chassis over. You will find the I/O, protected by a cover that may be slid back, in the top. It is comprised of two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, and the usual audio plugs.

Nanoxia also includes their chimney system in the top, which allows you to raise a large portion of the top cover for some greater airflow to any top-mounted fan- or liquid-cooling assembly.
