Dimensions

Backrest

The backrest is 86 cm (33.9 in.) long, 55 cm (21.7 in.) wide at the shoulders, and 56 cm (22.0 in.) wide around the pelvis. The X1000 is large enough for the stated maximum weight limit of 135 kg (297.62 lb). In our previous Nitro Concepts review, we examined the S300 EX with its logo embroidered in Inferno Red threading across nearly the entire backrest, which made for impressive looks! For the X1000, the backrest is a solid black with three embroidered trapezoids in black threading.

Although the X1000 heavily draws on seats in sports and luxury cars, the backrest's protruding edges do not appear to restrict the pelvis region or shoulders since they spread outwards. While designed for an upright body posture, they provide sufficient space to sit comfortably.

The company logo makes quite a few appearances on the backrest. At the face, the flame is embroidered in "Radiant White", as per the picked color option.

A discrete logo and the model name are embroidered across the middle of the backrest in white thread, and again on the right side, but with a gunmetal fabric stripe as the backdrop. This specific inscription is in the same font for all available color combinations.

The rear of the backrest also has the company logo on the headrest, in exactly the same make as on the front, while the company name and logo are also embroidered in a black thread towards the lower-right end of the backrest. Stitching quality is high throughout. Major parts of the chair are adorned in Radiant White stitching and, occasionally, black or gunmetal stitching.

Seat and Base

The sitting area also has contoured edges for that sporty look. Only raised slightly, the entire area may be used. There is no instance of the company name or logo here. It is 54.5 cm (21.5 in.) wide, and after placing the backrest in its designated position, 49.5 cm (19.5 in.) deep for the area you may utilize. Two Radiant White segments decorate the raised edges. Lastly, the height can be adjusted with a multitasking lever under the seat and ranges from 119–128.6 cm (46.7–53.8 in.).

The sitting area is stable and feels comfortable with its resistant cold foam filling. Having had another Nitro Concepts chair in the office for a while now, it will maintain its shape for years to come.

Neck and Lumbar Support

There are two complementary cushions in the bundle; the small one is for neck support, with the company logo embroidered in red, and the bigger one for lumbar support, with the company name in red and white threading. Since the X1000 does not have an integrated lumbar-support system, the two cushions are meant to provide the next best solution. The neck-support cushion has a strap around the headrest, while the lumbar-support cushion is placed like a couch cushion.

Armrests

The armrests are 3D—movable from left to right, they may also be adjusted in height and angle. Each armrest is equipped with a button. These are made out of rubber to keep the armrests stable while seated and adorned with the logo inside a carbon-fiber-like stripe. Each armrest is 10 cm x 25 (3.9 x 9.8 in).

Adjustments

Use the lever on the right side to adjust the angle of the backrest, which can range from 90° to 125°. The function is also depicted on the lever, which makes it a lot easier. You may adjust the chair's rocking mechanism with the same lever for a more relaxing sitting experience by leaning back up to 14°. Its tension may be adjusted with a knob under the seat that turns clockwise.

Five-star Base, Gas Lift, and Caster Wheels

A durable nylon five-star base allows the chair to swivel 360°. It comes with quiet casters covered in soft polyurethane. The hydraulic lift for all height adjustments is class-4 rated and capable of supporting the maximum stated weight limit.
