Compared to other noblechairs products, the assembly procedure of the Hero was notably easier. I weigh around 55 kg (121.55 lb), and since all of the company's chairs are built with large users in mind, I could not use the rocking mechanism with previous chairs from the company; it was always too stiff. However, while the Hero is also meant for big-boned users, noblechairs made sure even light users like me can make use of this feature.
More than five people have tried the Hero. The chair's backrest is high even for users who are around 1.85 m (72.83") tall. Moreover, users of up to 80 kg (176.36 lb) found the seat's base to be quite hard and not all that comfortable, at first at least, so we had to find some heavier users to test it. Their feedback was enlightening. All users above 80 kg found the Hero gaming chair sturdier than others, capable of keeping their back and pelvis area straight to a much more satisfactory degree than other chairs we have in our facilities. They also stressed the fact that the shape and sturdiness of the Hero helped them maintain the right body posture while simultaneously relieving their back.
Both cushions were removed by all users who tried the chair since they found the backrest and sitting area to be more comfortable without them. The large armrests are of the right size to keep the arms comfortably in place, and all adjustments are made with ease. The caster wheels are wide, roll on demand, and are pretty silent on a flat surface. However, we also used the Hero on a plastic mat, as well as a carpet, which made moving the Hero on demand slightly more difficult.
Along with the Hero, we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to try out the new matching accessory. The footrest is wide, as the chair itself, but softer. We have only recently discovered the benefits of a footrest, but already appreciate this accessory a lot; it really does improve comfort.
That said, this footrest is quite large, which makes using it in a confined office or a narrow gaming space a potential problem since both the Hero and the footrest take up lots of space. As an alternative, an integrated footrest that can be folded in under the base might have been a better option for such a large chair. However, this footrest and chair are perfect if you purchased the Hero for a large office or just to lean back and watch your favorite streaming platform. Additionally, we discovered that the footrest, when totally horizontal, can be used as a side table as well!
