User Experience

The ICON TX is a "homely" looking and feeling chair designed for large users. Its cushioning feels comfortable even if lighter than 100 kg 220.46 lb.). In general, all chairs from this series look a lot better without the pillows. For smaller users, such as myself with a height of 1.60 m (5.25 ft.), the neck pillow is usually of no use since I cannot reach it. Nevertheless, the pillow is widely adjustable vertically, which had it suit me just fine. Taller users were also able to position the pillow such that it made sense for them. The lumbar-support cushion has two sides, one flat and the other curved, which may be placed however suits you better. It also has straps, but you may just throw it on the chair as a sofa cushion or cross the straps over the rear of the backrest.


The armrests are padded nicely and adjustable in all the necessary ways. Stable, they do not move around when shaking them on purpose. Additionally, their buttons also feel sturdy. The casters move over hard and soft flooring smoothly and effortlessly, and quietly owing to the PU coating.
