ATTO is one of the most popular benchmarks for disk performance thanks to its easy configuration and short runtimes. The test consists of files of increasing sizes being written to and read from disk which represents expected performance in use case of certain file sizes.

PCMark Vantage is a widely used system performance assessment utility. It runs several gaming and productivity related tests. We ran the "disk" subset of tests for our benchmarks. (6.0 GB transferred, 49% write).
