ZX 850W is a little lighter than its 1250W big brother but shares the same depth (175mm), so it's quite large for an 850W PSU. However most contemporary chassis will support it without any problems. Its price plays in the high-end league where competition is fierce (e.g. Corsair AX850 costs about the same).

The unit features a single +12V rail which alone can deliver the full capacity of the PSU.
Cables & Connectors, Power Distribution
The PSU has a great deal of cables/connectors. Four PCIe connectors on separate cables each can support two high-end VGAs and the two EPS connectors provide support to server class mainboards. The number of SATA and peripheral connectors is more than enough for the capacity of the PSU. Attention here, only up to five SATA and peripheral cables can be connected at the same time to the PSU's modular panel. All cables have sufficient length and the distance between connectors is the minimum recommended by ATX, 150 mm. Finally the main ATX connector, along with the PCIe and the EPS ones, uses 16 AWG wires while SATA and peripheral connectors use 18 AWG.
Since this PSU features a single +12V rail we do not have anything to comment about its power distribution.
