Overall, the Rage ST is a pretty well-behaved headset, especially price considered. Its wearing comfort is great, and the positional audio is on par with that of the nearly twice as expensive CM Storm Sonuz. The tonal balance is pleasing for most users, although the midrange could do with a slight upgrade. For gaming, the Rage ST is good enough and very comfortable to wear, which is very important. The Ozone Rage ST's wearing comfort is even greater than that of the Sonuz, which is surprising.

The Rage ST is very light—a major bonus in terms of wearing comfort. That, coupled with generous padding, makes this headset score high in terms of long-term wearing comfort; the pads even vent a bit of air, which helps avoid hot ears. Its low clamping force does, of course, result in a headset that will sit rather loosely on a small head, and there is no workaround since its headband is constructed of nothing but plastic. Also, the ear cups have no swivel function, which makes the fit a bit tricky.

For gaming, this headset definitely provides good bang for the buck, but it might not be the best headset for avid LAN goers and portable gaming because of its slightly flimsy build quality. The cable assembly is very well made and the podded controller actually feels better than the headset. The Rage ST is, considering its low cost of €29.90, definitely a good headset with a couple of medium-sized flaws.
