Installation

Installing the cooler is a quick and painless process but does require a bit of prep work. First you need to remove the magnetic aluminium top cover and slide the middle fan out.

Now prepare the AM5 motherboard by removing the black plastic brackets and screw in the universal standoffs. Next slide the AMD mounting brackets onto the standoffs and secure them in place.

Next if you're using the cooler as is out of the box, it comes with thermal paste pre-applied. However, if you have a preferred thermal paste first remove the old and then apply what you prefer. Then position the cooler onto the CPU and tighten down the two screws alternating often for even pressure. Then slide the middle fan back into place and pull the wiring through so it can be plugged in.

The last steps are easy as it gets, replace the top cover on the heatsink and plug everything in. With that done, you're good to go.

Overall on either Intel or AMD the process is simple, quick, and painless with no issues to report.
