Phanteks NV7 Review

Packaging

The chassis ships in a clean, understated box, that provides two subtle views of the enclosure. The case model is prominently mentioned on three of the four sides as well. An interesting tidbit is that - at least when the packaging was designed for our sample - Phanteks had classified the case as a Mid-Tower chassis, even though it is taller than some Full-Tower cases. Obviously, this was just a small oversight, as the product details on their site refer to it as a Full-Tower instead.

Opening the box up, there is a notice that you will find the accessories box tucked away inside the rear cover of the enclosure, so you won't have to wonder where it is and end up contacting Phanteks support in the heat of the moment. As the Phanteks NV7 is quite a massive and heavy case, it ships with cardboard re-enforced foam spacers and a cloth bag to ensure you get it in pristine condition.

Contents

Thanks to the label on the cardboard flap, as a first step, we popped the back of the case off to reveal the accessories as expected. Phanteks has employed Velcro to stick the sleeve for the manual onto the accessories box.

Inside that package, you will find the Phanteks signature screw assortment box, a GPU support bracket, ARGB wiring, two cover plates, a microfibre cloth and some zip ties.

While most brands opt to not have a manual included with the chassis, Phanteks goes to the opposite extreme with the NV7 by providing a printed copy in full color to help you with your build.
