Finished Looks

The Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK looks sharp and adds a nice bit of contrast to the motherboard I use for testing. With its other color options, finding a color that looks good inside your PC should not be a problem.


The size of the heatsink is already massive with two fans. Adding a third fan would push this cooler into the realm of absurdity. Regardless of that, its size does create that awe-inspiring aspect sure to catch people's attention.


Clearance around the socket is still fairly good when it comes to the 8-pin EPS connector and fan headers. This is a definite plus considering its size.


Memory clearance is, as one can guess, less than stellar, but that is unavoidable with such a cooler. The Phanteks PH-TC14PE is so large that it covers all the memory slots, so make sure your system memory is of standard height because taller memory sticks, like Corsair's Dominator Platinums, will not fit.
