AMD has had a complete DirectX 11 lineup for several months now, whereas NVIDIA is still building their product stack. The Radeon HD 5750 is one of the lower mid-range, budget-oriented models AMD is offering at this time, with the HD 5400, HD 5500, and HD 5600 series being slower. With a price range in the sub-$150 segment, these are also the cards that many of the budget gamers will buy, and NVIDIA will offer a new card, the GeForce GTS 450 in this segment, soon.

PowerColor is the first manufacturer to create a low-profile HD 5700 Series card which should fit most media PC cases (slim form-factor cases in general), on the market that have the space for a dual-slot graphics card. Specs-wise, the card follows the reference clock speeds, with the major innovation being the compact form factor, PCB design and cooler here.
