The QNAP NMP-1000 Network Media Player does exactly what the name implies. Connected to your TV, it will output your digital media off the local drive or stream it across your network. QNAP is well known for their excellent line of NAS devices. It will be interesting to see how this level of expertise translates into a consumer device like the NMP-1000.
