Packaging

Some of you would expect fancier packaging for such an expensive product, but we personally don't care for the box but for what it holds inside. The only colored part of the box is the sticker on its front depicting the server's features and hardware specifications. This sticker also informs interested buyers of the fact that the IR remote control is included, which will prove useful with multimedia playback.

Contents & Bundle

QNAP's usual welcoming message will greet you once you open the box. This product is adequately protected by two pieces of packing foam.


The bundle includes several sets of screws, two small heatsinks for cooling down the M.2 drives' controllers, an AC power cord, a quick installation guide, and an IR remote control.


You will get six Ethernet cables along with the NAS. We would like to see a Thunderbolt cable included as well since they are bloody expensive.
