Finished Looks
The Raijintek Ereboss CPU Cooler really looks nice once installed on my test system's MSI-Z87GD65 Gaming motherboard. The red of the fan is just enough color for the motherboard's theme, making for an appealing look.
However, at least one DIMM slot appears to be blocked. Clearance around the rest of the socket is good, with no issues I noticed around the 8-pin EPS connector or heatsinks.
When it comes to memory clearance, there is very little extra space once the Ereboss is installed. When using all four DIMM slots, anything other than generic memory will end up with the cooler's fan resting on the first memory module. Clearance with the second DIMM slot is close. This will make installing memory with larger heatsinks a bit of a pain, so stick to standard height memory or memory with low profile heatsinks, like Corsair's Vengeance LP kits. The cooler looks good with this motherboard, and users with a red and black theme will find the Raijintek Ereboss to feel right at home, with the fan's white blades adding a nice splash of contrast.
