The fan's speed tops out once the load reaches 900 W and the operating temperature exceeds 45°C. With loads of up to 650 W at high operating temperatures, the fan's speed stays below 1000 RPM.
Noise and Fan Speed (~30 °C)
With up to 290 W load, the PSU is silent under real-life conditions. With only 20 W more, though, the 30 dBA mark is surpassed, and with more than 415 W, the PSU enters the 35–40 dBA zone.
