The VT3Pro Max closely follows the Zowie EC-style right-handed ergonomic archetype. The left side is raised by a good amount, the hump centered, sloping down gradually towards both ends, and neither the front nor back flare out to a significant degree. Unlike on Zowie's EC, thin ledges are found next to the main buttons, though unlike with the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro, these aren't wide enough to allow resting one's finger on. The main buttons feature only very shallow comfort grooves, which is another similarity to the Zowie EC. In terms of size, the VT3Pro Max sits in the middle between the EC1 and EC2, and could be described as an "EC1.5," much like the original Pulsar Xlite Wireless.


As for grip styles, I'd say the VT3Pro Max is suited for both palm and claw grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the VT3Pro Max comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Rapoo VT3Pro Max and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
