Installation

To install the Reeven Okeanos users will want to prepare the backplate first, before putting it in place.


Next up are the white spacers which are placed onto the backplate's screws before sliding the mounting bracket into place. Using the four included nuts, tighten it down to secure it in place.


Now apply your thermal paste of choice, or use the included packet, put the cooler into place with the crossbar, and use the crossbar's bolts to secure the cooler in place.


Attach the fans to the cooler with the included fan clips, before plugging them into the motherboard's CPU fan headers, and you are done. Now is also the right time to use the included speed switch adapters if you want to quieten the cooler down.

Because in part due to its simple design, the install was relatively quick and painless; however, I always hate having to use a spanner or wrench. Overall, I would rate the installation procedure an 8 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). Even with the wrench, the mounting hardware is well thought out.
