Packaging

ROCCAT has been using their signature packaging design with their mice for a pretty long time now, and the Kone AIMO is no exception either. There is a 45 degree edge cut on the right side of the box (this part features a huge embossed ROCCAT logo), making it not six, but seven-sided. Opening it without tearing the little flaps requires some patience for sure. The contents of this package are the Kone AIMO mouse, an installation guide, a disposal guide, and three different ROCCAT stickers. No extra set of mousefeet, unfortunately.

Shape

The shape is ergonomic, and it's mainly made for right-handed users. Its dimensions are similar to the Kone EMP, but there are drastic changes that can be seen easily. There are more ledges, buttons, and lights, of course. In my opinion, it is a bit overdesigned as some of these ledges didn't feel very good, but that might just be me. The main buttons are slightly grooved, giving your fingers some extra comfort and grip. This mouse is rather huge. My hands are roughly 18x9 cm in size, and I couldn't use it very well, but that is entirely a matter of preference and doesn't mean you couldn't either. Comfort is a very important factor when choosing a mouse, so do pick wisely. As for the grip style, it's mainly designed for a palm grip, but can of course be claw or fingertip gripped as well, depending on your preference and hand's size (you should have large hands for this).

I didn't find find any provided dimensions by the manufacturer, so these are my own measurements. It is about 130 mm (5.11") long, which is quite a bit and 74 mm (2.91") wide at the widest part, and 64 mm (2.52") wide at the grips. It is about 40 mm (1.57") tall at the tallest point, which is a hump located at the center of the shell.
