Finished Looks

The monochrome looks of the Nitro+ S240-A make it a great fit for the majority of builds from a visual standpoint, with the ARGB lighting turned off. Obviously, with the ARGB lighting on, as shown below, it will fit just about any theme you have in mind.

While memory and graphics card clearance is usually flawless on most all-in-one liquid coolers, the Sapphire Nitro+ S240-A misses the market. The cooler encroaches on the memory slot closest to the CPU when installed as directed. Now, it is possible to flip the pump block's orientation, but this may not always work depending on your build. Regardless, the issue is present on both our Intel and AMD test systems, and it is an issue Sapphire should have noticed and corrected during the design phase since it keeps even standard memory from fitting on the test systems.

The ARGB illumination isn't the best I have seen in regards to uniformity, but it by far is not the worst, either. The fans are bright and sharp, with the densely packed blades providing ample diffusion of the color of your choice. While the individual LEDs are visible in the fan hubs, the dense fan blades mitigate it a bit more than I had expected. Overall, those who care more about visual flair should be rather happy with the Sapphire Nitro+ S240-A.
