A Closer Look

When it comes to the Fuma, Scythe utilizes a dual-tower design consisting of forty-seven aluminum fins that are fed heat from the base via six heatpipes.

The design, while typical for a dual-tower cooler, is actually a bit shorter than normal with a maximum height of 149 mm. This makes the Scythe Fuma far more compact than the likes of the NH-D15 and other similar coolers. That means that in situations where behemoth coolers cannot fit, the Fuma can likely fit just fine.

The top plate almost has a mirror finish, which looks nice but is also a fingerprint magnet. As such, you will want to keep your hands to yourself if you want to admire your pretty looks in it. That said, the mirror look is an improvement over more typical plastic top plates. Meanwhile, the six heatpipes are Ø6 mm and have been arranged in the typical U-shape. Finally, the base also features a near mirror finish.

The dual 120 mm Slip Stream fans included by Scythe feature a 300-1400 PWM RPM range and are rated at 79 CFM and 28 dBA when running at full speed. Their model number is SY1225SL12M-CJP.
